Prayer Requests 2/10/12

Prayer Requests for February 10, 2012

Jeffrey: Muriel Pappin's nephew Jeffrey Hall is undergoing a three-hour procedure today. Please pray for his healing.

The Erickson Family: Ann and Brady Erickson of Minnesota gave birth on 2/1 to 24-week premature triplets well under two pounds each: Esme, Scarlet, and Heinrick. All three babies are experiencing brain bleeds of various levels (levels 3 & 4, with 5 being the worst) and have a long road to recovery ahead. Prayer Requests

Please pray for Susanne's friend Tiffanie in North Carolina and her family. This week, Connor, the child of Tiffanie's cousin Christy, died of SIDS on his first birthday. Please pray for Christy and her family, and especially for Tiffanie as Christy is staying with her as they make arrangements for Connor's burial instead of for his first birthday party.

In addition, Tiffanie's cousin, Mike, aged 27, has been diagnosed with inoperable stage 4 lymphoma. He'll be undergoing chemotherapy, but his prognosis doesn't look promising.

Please pray for Christy, Mike, and all of Tiffanie's family during these difficult days. May these tragic circumstances draw them closer to the God who loves them with an everlasting love!!

Prayer Requests and Praise

Prayer:
George S., whose cancer has spread from his bladder to several other places in his body, is undergoing daily radiation at this time, and is in extreme pain. The pain medications are doing little to offer him relief. George lives in Georgia with his wife and two teens; he will be seeing his oncologist on Friday. Pray for pain relief and for shrinkage of his tumors.

Prayer and Praise:
Bishop B. writes us:
"Never underestimate the power of prayer. Cathie is still undergoing chemotherapy and will probably continue on it for quite a while. It is working as the tumor in her lung has decreased in size by about forty percent. The lesions in her brain for the most part have disappeared except for three or four which have increased in size by a bit. The Docs are keeping a watch on these. She is feeling pretty good these days although she is quite tired which goes along with the chemo. The oncologist says there is no cure for lung cancer but we are praying for a remission to occur. I would ask you all to continue to keep her in your prayers as that is the best treatment she can have. +Richard. (retired but working on a new job of caregiver)."

Thank you for joining us in prayer and praise!
