29 May 2008 - Thanksgiving and Prayer Request

Ben Lizak came back from walking with Holly on Friday morning when he felt clammy and had a tightness in his chest. Holly took him to the Emergency Room at Kaiser where they found he had a heart attack. After a "shot" of nitro, he felt much better. They admitted him and did test. He seems to be doing fairly well and they report he had no heart muscle damage. Greg brought him a bear: so far the bear has not eaten Ben and Ben has not eaten the bear.

Ben had a two way angioplasty at Scripps on Tuesday that went well and a third was done today, Wednesday, all three with stents. All three came out well and Ben came home on Thursday and feels much better.

Please pray for Ben's complete and rapid recovery and for Holly, Ryan and Ashley's peace of mind and soul while they help Ben with his recovery.
